OATMEAL DATE COOKIES
1/2 lb butter
1cup brown sugar
1/2cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2cups flour
1tsp vanilla
1tsp baking soda
1tsp cinnamon
3cups quick oats
8oz chopped dates
Cream butter and both sugars together, add eggs and vanilla and combine well. Add flour, baking soda, and cinnamon and combine into ingredients. Finally add quick oats and dates and mix together. Use a teaspoon to drop mix onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 11 to 12 minutes.

Yield: approximately 4 dozen.
